Castle Lake Leads to Heart Lake

- a castle crag reflection and heart wisdom connection

Our hike begins with walking by a mirror image… following on from my previous post, Sand Flat (Upper). While we could walk the perimeter of Castle Lake, we’re going to climb and find Heart Lake.

These flowers have the most exquisite strong scent…

Nature induced a few epiphanies along the way…

You are invited to sit with me and be in the stillness and silence…

… then journey with nature’s harmony…

On top of the world… I found wild blueberries up there too! Not quite ready to eat though.

My vision takes me out into the galaxy…

Once back at the bottom the smoke had rolled in and was the perfect time to leave. I’m grateful I hiked early. As I drive away, a line of firefighters walk single file on the shoulder of the road… a water truck ready for some training, by the looks.
