Standing before a giant. Observing a Maple tree; its fall appearance tri-coloured, a thought or awareness comes to me. I concede it is through our innocence and ignorance that we may think we have destroyed aspects of our path, our dreams, goals and wishes, yet love never dies and nature always offers a way to restore the harmony.
Any blocks that seek to diminish keep one small and insignificant, tumble like weed across a lush green paddock by a force so strong I wonder where it came from.
Nature whispers through her Maple leaves, Come dance with me… together we are history in the remaking.
The Path of Gold
At the weekend a group of curious dreamers joined my friend and I for a talk about dreams and dreaming. Meaningful stories were shared. Attendees listened with compassion and commented with due care, consideration and from their heart’s truth. It was interactive, insightful and thoroughly enjoyable. Nature sang through me and the attendees shared experiences that spoke of great peace, love and adventure… while feelings of humbleness, joy and deep gratitude were beautiful gifts to receive.
On that day, I read an excerpt from my fourth memoir, Boundless, The Voice of Freedom (published on November 6, 2021). In the opening pages, my words about the path of gold fill the space.
I returned to my friend’s bear cave to record the prologue of Boundless…
It surprises me now, three years later, to discover there was a knowing about this path of gold. Since then, there have been numerous visuals and verbal confirmation of its existence. This past year alone, I have seen gold mica running through the waters of friends farmlands, in the lakes of Canada and the rocks and stones of the earth. On each occasion, I have marvelled at its beauty and luminous qualities. Curiously, we humans also contain the element of gold.

The Fall Equinox
The day following our event, once our guests had left, I sat in peace and serenity on a cushioned wicker chair on the back verandah in silence, devoid of thought and happy to be. My body felt rooted to the spot as though I had plugged into nature’s refilling station.
I don’t know how long I had been there before many many birds landed on the grass and the path, a metre or two from where I sat, along with several perched on a spent woody plant, like decorations. Some were teeny tiny and others had blue around their heads… the sounds they sang were so sweet.
They stayed with me for five, maybe ten minutes and I so very much enjoyed their song. Afterwards, I no longer felt tired, as though their high-pitched sounds infused with gaiety automatically recalibrated my vibration leaving me lighter and feeling carefree.
That was what the fall equinox in the northern hemisphere meant to me - where the energies of polarising opposites were in balance and harmony.
Can you hear the gold frequency melody flowing through the birds?
By comparison, the two sound recordings I captured from Lotus Bird Lodge and Moreton Telegraph Station, Queensland, Australia shared in my post, Reaching the Tip, are raucous and loud.
History in the Remaking
It is the golden thread that led me back to Canada for my fourth visit. This journey has shown me the rewriting and rewiring of history in the remaking. It is remarkable to consider the love that I feel for these lands - the air’s crispness, abundant nature as far as the eyes can see, beauty, colours and contrast. However, I have realised something valuable - it’s not the friends, the countryside or the culture, it is my interaction with each, and my place in the threads of its seeming complexities.
In Canada, I came to visit friends. I came to explore and more. And rather than go too deep into the what I have perceived from my time here, what I will say is that the multilayering is as deep as it is wide and I can see the potentiality for a new novel brewing.
Nature and love leads the way. May you feel the joy and lightness in your steps today and enjoy hearing the birds at play. Thank you for being here… you are appreciated.

Hi Leanda - wow, you are cruising! Your energy is shining through your words.
I studied dreaming as well and had a dream circle when I lived in Melbourne. I do miss not having one here.
🌈 May the power of the dream continue to awaken the dreamers of our time and may the golden orange light illuminate all our paths 🌈
Very beautiful Leanda, just amazing we were both writing about the gold this week. Very sensitive and tender.
