Where there is communication there is action to resolve, harmonise, collaborate and unite for the greater good of any situation. Everything we do can only work well when we function from the willingness to remain open and achieve a result that everyone is happy with. So, when my dear friend, whom I am staying with, asked me to rake the leaves from around and beneath a medicinal plant, I set to the task. Partway through I questioned why I was doing this, and felt I was surely intervening with nature’s natural design. When I listened more intently to these inner feelings, the translation I received was not to remove all the leaves as some were needed to protect the soil, bugs and insects. I checked in with my friend and she wholeheartedly agreed.
I felt grateful for the opportunity to communicate more effectively. Doing so makes my daily tasks more efficient—contributing to a more harmonious planet is a beautiful aspect. While our human relationships are at the forefront of massive change, equally important are the ones we have with our immediate environment and the world at large.
In my friend’s medicinal garden I am learning about what is classed as a noxious weed was once an edible one or what is still classed as noxious could actually be beneficial to some of our wildlife. It’s like sifting weavels from flour so one can bake a cake. You might say throw out the flour and get another bag, but when one lives on the land - a farm, as an example - often one must utilise what one has.
Take for example Ragweed (Ambrosia artemisiifolia; Ambrosia trifida) from the sunflower family. According to this site it is ranked #2 on the Super Seeds List as a natural birdseed for our wildlife.
My friend doesn’t agree with everything shared on the site, which makes life ever more curious as I must discern what is true and aligned with nature and what is false. Herein, is another example of natures harmony where we don’t always have to agree, only allow each person to arrive at their own point of harmony.
Where there is harmony we find peace with ourselves and our immediate environment.
Once upon a time, I was too afraid to speak up for sounding inept—other people knew best. Yet it’s not about the knowledge, it’s about our knowing, that which feels right and true and beautiful.
Late afternoon and my friend and I walked around the edge of two paddocks on her farm. As we entered the second paddock at my feet was a beautiful feather and I learned it came from a Wild Turkey. A few more steps and another two smaller Wild Turkey feathers sat side by side at my feet. I marvelled at their beauty, texture, shimmering colours and design.
I appreciated what this site had to say about these feathers… ‘A turkey is a symbol of the wildness of the Earth; the earth is a wilderness that man can never control.’
A frog leaps to my left, to safety, camouflaging itself between soybean plants. A grasshopper flits to the right.
At the bottom of the second paddock we turn the corner and directly in front of my feet is the most perfect feather - a gift from a Red-Tailed Hawk. My entire being lights up with gratitude and wonder… I am so surprised. Later, I would sit with it against my body - Remember, you can see far ahead. Warm tears swell behind my closed eyes confirming I had translated its message.
My steps feel lighter and like a child I spy a heart shape in the trunk of a tree where green shoots sprout. I am love and love is everywhere.
On another note, it has been a dream of mine to visit a location called Dreamers Rock. I noted before leaving Australia that it wasn’t open to the public and hoped that would change by the time I was nearby. Unfortunately, when I phoned I was told the area is being given a rest… so this bucket list item is not to be realised this trip, which is curious because I had earmarked it for 2021 and couldn’t travel at that time. Maybe, it will be third time lucky!
Once again, I return to nature’s harmony that depends on clear communication. Is it the land and Mother Earth that says no visitors? Or is it the authorities that say no visitors on nature’s behalf? Are we interfering with nature’s natural rhythms? Maybe I’ll biolocate and visit energetically anyway!
What have you seen on your travels today?
Wherever you go and whatever you do, may clarity be all about you and all about you, honouring clear communications where nature’s harmony is a felt part of you.
Love’s Harmony,
Leanda Michelle ✍🏼
Good luck, wish you next time it will open for public and all including me can visit it to enjoy its beauty.
