SA Road Trip: Part 6
Wikipedia says, Twelfth Night is a Christian festival on the last night of the Twelve Days of Christmas, marking the coming of the Epiphany. Of course, we are nowhere near “that” time of the year, though my 12 days house and pet sitting arrangement on the Great Ocean Road has surely felt celebratory.
There was the total lunar eclipse and the March Equinox… I felt the former, three days before her fullness; life would not be the same again, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Powerful shifts were in full swing and I was ready to explore and face more of me.
The animals talked to me daily: Gang Gang Cockatoos, Magpies, Pied Currawongs, Kookaburra, Finches, Honeyeaters, white and black Cockatoos, King Parrots, an Echidna, one BIG Kangaroo and more; so much vibrancy I didn’t want to leave. Again, I acknowledged, everything is temporary and to be with what IS.
Daily cycles within cycles depicted by the rise and set of one sun… my own sun attuning ever deeper.
As for the epiphany… well, my life was an ever-evolving revelation of mystery amongst the mountainside where her hands, that I could not see, held me. Soon, nature’s natural current would carry me to meet with more of my destiny… from the Latin, destinaire, meaning to make firm or establish… nothing to do with any hidden power that some call fate and is said to control future events. No. My destiny comes from the Dreamer and all I have dreamed to be.
I hope you, too, are feeling held and aware of that loving presence flowing through you.
