There’s no promise of return…
If you’ve been receiving my news for some time… thank you for transitioning to the freshness of this new space. To anyone, I’ve yet to meet, thank you for being here too! It feels heartwarming to share news from a platform that has been created especially for writers and authors… and a relief to let go of the old that has bugged me for years… not mentioning names. You never know what may come from having a go at something new. So, here we go!
What’s New!
Introducing Sea Dream Press Authors Collective’s first Guest Muse poem by writer and author, Carina Ramm, entitled Transformation.
What’s news at the Community Gardens?
The weekend’s sunshine in conjunction with the previous rains delivered an exquisite surprise when I arrived this morning… calendula flowers are hugely beneficial for any veggie or herb bed to keep the bugs away. Aside from that, it is said that flowers emanate one of the highest frequencies on our planet. May you enjoy drinking in its visual beauty and opening the channels to its feel-good frequencies.
I love the water droplets… it’s almost like she’s smiling too!
If you are new here…
Warmest of welcome to my newsletter. This space is about my true nature and yours, what nature continues to share with and through me, and my passion for words and storytelling. In January this year, I set out to establish a community garden in my local area - Hastings, Victoria Australia. One garden led to two and now I’ve heard about a third that needs love and care. Sometimes I’ll share a recipe I’ve created from freshly picked produce. I write only when I have something to say, and usually to inspire and uplift as you navigate life.
The choice is yours… I have two publications: Leanda Michelle (the news you are currently reading) and Sea Dream Press Authors Collective. Here your options are:

Something to be aware of…
You may or may not have noticed that some foods no longer come from real food. Campbells Soup now reads on their label: ‘Contains Bioengineered Food Ingredients’ and ‘This product come from genetically modified crops’… yes! There should be an 's' at the end of 'come.' And while I only recognise two brands on the list of foods that contain a variety of bugs, Sara Lee and Original Philly, I feel this is not only unnecessary that we need to eat these creatures as we have plenty we can grow, these critters are actually part of our healthy food growing practices. For example: crickets eat weeds, mealworm castings are rich in nitrogen and make a good fertilizer for plants and are high in phosphates, which stimulate plant root growth, and grasshoppers feed on a wide range of grassy and broadleaf weeds. The animals that feed off grasshoppers are sugar gliders, lizards, snakes, assassin bugs, frogs, ants and worms. Why humans think they need to interfere with nature is beyond me.
Our body responds best from the 1st option then becomes a sliding scale to the last option (from personal experience only)… eat fresh produce from:
what you can grow at home
your local community garden
farmer’s market
direct from a farm
an organic store
local fruit and vegetable shop
a supermarket
The closer the food is to where you reside, the more it can benefit you, as your field of energy will be a match.
Signing off with a morning dew drop…
While the world may appear to have gone a little upside down there are still many pleasurable moments where you can drop your shoulders and sigh at nature’s beauty… it often shows up when you aren’t looking 👀
Love in Harmony,
Leanda Michelle ✍🏻📚
