Leanda, I had not heard of agnihotra. How fascinating that it seems to have helped your eyes. 💫 The Parkdale neighbourhood you visited is in my novel, The Shining Fragments. Do you remember the orphans' home? It was situated in what is now High Park. (Where St. Joseph's Hospital is. Not sure if you saw that.) My daughter works in the area, and years ago, in the 1980s, I lived out there. I love that you went there. ✨️
Oh my gosh, I had not pieced this information together. Thank you so much for pointing this out to me, Robin because I will pay more attention when I return to that location. It is a beautiful spot and the people are friendly... one woman stopped me in the street to ask if the dog I was walking belonged to my friend. Of course, he did!
interesting post and indeed to accept in awareness that there are things that we cannot control is liberating. However does that also mean to cease to be concerned or care for the consequences of the things out of our control? Are they opposing statements? Or can there be liberation in the balance?
What do you think?
I love the image of the fire and the image in the fire - do you see an entity reaching out or even trying to say something - or am I imagining🤔? 🌿🌼🌿
My apologies for the delay in responding... I have moved a couple of times and have resettled for the next few weeks.
What I mean by neither accepting nor rejecting is about acknowledging what IS. It certainly doesn't mean I don't care. Maybe if I were to attend a weekly or daily fire ceremony I might see or experience more positive changes... I truly hope it does make a difference to the land and the people. The reports are very positive... I just wonder why it's not more widely known and utilised, hence sharing it here.
Alda's photo is beautiful, I agree... I see the flame resembles a figure giving an offering. Of course, it be interpreted in many ways.
🪃 Thanks for your response Leanda. My apologies - I was not implying that you didn’t care. It was a philosophical question I ask myself often when I see things I do not like and yet I must accept as I cannot control them. 🪃
Thank you so much for clarifying, Nicola. I understand what you mean now. For me, when I see things I do not like it pushes me to unearth what I can do to make more of a positive impact - for Earth and its inhabitants. 🌐 xx
