"Fields of Gold"

~ in the Macedon Ranges of Victoria, Australia

I stopped in Kyneton on my drive to my next house and pet sit in the Macedon Ranges to discover the Daffodil & Arts Festival, themed "Fields of Gold" in full swing. I also spontaneously felt drawn to pull into the Botanical Gardens and take a wander.

What a joy the saturation of daffodils presented

The sound of water led me to a concrete weir (circa 1900)… one of many built across the Campaspe River in the early 1900s to hold larger volumes of water for the summer periods.

After a morning of cleaning, washing and packing up the car in preparation to leave my previous house and pet sit, my body felt relieved to arrive at what would be my cottage for the next few days. Nested between two mountains, part of me was aware of deeper changes taking place. As for the cottage, in Sanskrit its name means, happiness, joy or satisfaction… where the caretakers bring joy and prosperity to others. What an apt description! I feel so fortunate to receive this gift after a tumultuous period of time.

Another burst of sunshine to brighten your day!

On another note: I have been cross-posting from Sea Dream Press, The Unknown audio recordings… I won’t be doing that from this post forward. If you would like to hear the audio recordings you’ll need to subscribe to Sea Dream Press or message me direct to receive the recordings in full.

Meanwhile, Leanda’s Substack (earthaum) posts may become more sporadic and potentially let go… we’ll see!

What brings you joy at this time where you are? Thank you for being here.
